Liberation Notes TV Netflix Review

This Korean Netflix show is one of those weird ones. Not sure if it is my favorite, or just so so. I find it kind of pleasant to watch even though not that much is going on. It kind of feels like staring blankly at the grass outside the backyard on a hot sunny day when your mind just goes blank and you are neither happy nor sad just being there is good enough. I guess that sets the tone of the show as a whole.  It is a show about people who find themselves stuck or lost, with a lack of life purpose or shred of happiness. The folks in the show are all looking for a break in their monotony of life, and especially to find love and happiness.  I find the character Gu, just a very interesting and mysterious fellow, with a wicked past. Most of the characters struggle with the life's cards they are given, with 2 hr work commutes, angry bosses, to crushes 😍 that never got fulfilled. It is the progress of finding meaning in life, the fact that it is beautiful even when it is the most monotonous and mundane.  I think the show, proves that chasing the greener grass does not always more for a better life and ❤️ heart.  Life is always about the journey, the talks, the laughs, and the person sitting next to you be it a parent, sibling, friend, or lover, it is all worthwhile.

It’s October , so time for inktober or in my case pixeltober day 5 “map”

This summer my wife and my sons watched Netflix Studios new live action adaptation of  “One Piece” , it was just plan great silly fun. So today being day five of inktober , decided to pay homage to Luffy, king of the pirates. Was done quickly on iPad Pro 11” using the great Pixaki program.
